Camille Claudel try to show the talented sculptor in her troubled life course. The show conveys the main feelings that permeated her life as loves, fears and pains, revealing a woman in search of never achieved happiness.
The research starts from the golden age, when she became famous for her work with white clay, her affair with Augustin Rodin, unrequited love, madness and her tragic end trapped in a madhouse, with contemporary choreographic elements portraying each one of these stages lived by Camille.
From the costumes to the soundtrack, the whole show is permeated by vivid and strong feelings that cause the audience to immerse themselves with the dancers and the scenes. Each performer brings a feeling to the stage which culminates in their self degradation and destruction. Paranoia, madness, unrequited love, obsession with Rodin, and the decline of a brilliant artist, this is Camille Claudel.
